I’m a curious creative who has always loved writing. My cupboards are full of notebooks, my phone is full of notes, and my laptop has folders full of ideas.

The more you know, the more you want to know. And I think it’s true, the more interested you are the more interesting you’ll be.

Working as a radio producer for over 20 years means my radar for storytelling is strong. I can sense the shiny surface, the juicy bits beneath, and the tantalising tendrils that can be explored to connect.

I’ve conducted enough interviews to know that going ‘off track’ can uncover unexpected ‘nuggets’ of information. That’s how I find the gold.

My specialty (niche, if you like) is drawing out incredible stories from people and telling them with tact, humour, and poignancy.
